Marcus Notaro of Stag's Leap Wine Cellars

Legendary for its contributions to American winemaking, Stag’s Leap is bringing a series of exciting, free events to New York City as part of its inaugural Cellars Week celebration.

Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars invites you to an exceptional week of wine tasting and education in the heart of New York City. Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or just pouring your first glass, Stag’s Leap is bringing new insight to the art of cellaring, (the storing and preserving wines), from the perspectives of investment, organization, and the art of a great pour. Taking over Astor Center in NoHo, you’ll have the opportunity to join renowned Winemaker Marcus Notaro and special guest speakers for a week of education and wine tasting with new and library vintages.

Stag’s Leap kicked this exciting week off with an exclusive preview event where guests enjoyed commentary from Marcus Notaro as they sampled a special selection of wines including a 2021 AVETA Sauvignon Blanc and the extremely prized 1995 CASK23 Cabernet Sauvignon. Wines were paired with hors d’oeuvres chosen by Stag’s Leap’s own house chef, Travis Westrope.
