Bridal and evening couture designer Ines Di Santo has just debuted her spring/summer 2017 bridal collection.

“For this collection, I pulled from spring herself. Imagining the flowers that emerge in the season and the path they take from seed to sunlight – I have used lace, embroideries and movement in my gowns to push toward an unexpected place. While still soft and romantic, my bride will stand- dressed only for herself and the one she loves.” -Ines Di Santo

Before the models strutted their stuff dressed in these beautiful gowns they were given a hair makeover by hairstylist Felix Fischer. Using Pai-Shau products Fischer created fresh, straight modern hair- luminous, healthy and moving, accented with clearly defined parts. “The looks are youthful and modern but with refined softness, and a luxurious texture so fluid that strands flow as effortlessly as silk,” according to Fischer.

Models also wore pulled back looks accentuated with pastel flowers to enhance the bridal theme. “Creating this style was a sophisticated process,” said Fischer, “and the result of the unique ways we applied and layered Pai-Shau products, blow-dried and flat-ironed the hair.”

If you want to take a crack at recreating this hairstyle here just follow these steps:

  • Mist the hair until damp and comb Pai-Shau Royal Abundance Mousse into the hair, from the mid-length to the ends.

  • Apply Pai-Shau Biphasic Infusion (3-5 pumps) and massage into the hair from the mid-length to the ends. Then twist strands and massage Biphasic Infusion into ends with both hands to penetrate deeply and repair. This instantly smooths dry or split ends, smooths the cuticle and adds shine.

  • Create a part mid-crown from ear to ear, then blow dry small, one-inch sections forward and down (with a medium round brush) to build in subtle volume, smooth the hair and the root.

  • Next blow-dry the remaining back section down from the crown; working in one-inch sections using a medium sized round brush.  Fisher notes, “There was a lot of heat and pulling to get the right texture, but with these two Pai-Shau products I had no fear of burning or damaging the hair. They actually hydrated and enhanced its condition.”

  • Spray Pai-Shau Imperial Hold Hairspray over the top/forward and bottom/back sections of the hair.

  • Use a flat iron to further sleek and straighten the top/forward and bottom/back sections of hair from roots to ends.

  • Comb the front section back and blend it with rest of hair. Lightly tap Pai-Shau Style Soufflé on top of the hair and massage in, to give a boost of smoothness without heaviness or weight and to control any remaining flyaways.

  • Finish with a light spray of Pai-Shau Sublime Hold Hairspray for soft, moveable hold.
