National Iced Tea Day is finally here and Raising Cane’s is kicking it off with the rapper and actor himself… Ice-T.
Law and Order: SVU‘s Ice-T stopped by Raining Cane’s Astor Place to serve the delicious drink that celebrates him, as well as the fast-food restaurant. In the commercial he encourages his customers to go for the sweet… or un-sweetened iced tea, as viewers also get a peek of his “sweet” and “un-sweetened” side (which you do not want to meet).
Although Ice-T isn’t new to promoting the popular fast-food chain on National Iced Tea Day, this is his first time expressing his love for Cane’s iced tea with a commercial. He says, “It’s the national holiday celebrating me – and Cane’s iced tea – and it’s great to be working with Cane’s again on one of my favorite holidays.”
Ice-T spoke to Cane’s in an exclusive interview about his ties with the brand. He said, “It’s been a wonderful connection with them. They get me, and I love them, so it’s natural.”
Luckily Raising Cane’s Caniac Club members will be receiving a free 22-ounce iced tea just for today.
