How The Hell Did I Get Here? Ft. Mrs. Patmore

From Downton to Downtown…Lesley Nicol, famously known as Mrs. Patmore from the award-winning period drama, Downton Abbey, brings her charisma to New York City.

Catch the limited engagement viewing after opening night on April 25th.

Whether a fan of the show or not, this kindhearted and warm performance is a must-see for everyone.

The masterful storytelling directed by Luke Kernaghan takes the audience on a journey of Lesley’s life, from her childhood to her awkward teens, into how she found profound success personally and professionally. This was no ordinary play, it was guided by original songs composed by the talented Mark Mueller, who accompanied Nicol on the piano as her life unfolded before us.

You’ll find yourself gently wiping your tears as moments of challenges, tenderness, and just real life in its most pure form is shared. Nicol presents her fears and desires in the most elegant way, leaving you wanting more.

Expect to laugh and smile ear to ear as you see Lesley get to the bottom of How the hell she got here, referring to her success seen today.

Lesley has been a part of numerous theater productions, and many successful television shows, and will soon be featured in the upcoming feature film, Downton Abbey: A New Era, scheduled for release in May.

Stay tuned for that release, because if this performance confirmed anything, it’s that Mrs. Patmore is an absolute gem.

The performance schedule is Monday & Wednesday at 8PM (dark on Tuesdays), Thursday through Saturday at 7PM, and matinees on Saturday at 3PM & Sunday at 2PM. Tickets are priced from $79.

An exclusive pre-show High Tea service is offered to enhance the experience, complete with an assortment of fine teas, cakes, and finger sandwiches prepared by the hotel’s Executive Chef Pascal Le Seac’h.  Additional reservation is required.
