Santa Monica’s 3rd Street Promenade welcomes an exciting new hotspot for competitive socializing as Holey Moley Golf Club officially opened on December 6.
Developed by Australian entertainment company Funlab, this two-story, 9,748 square foot venue blends immersive entertainment with Instagrammable eats and drinks, offering a lively space to unwind, connect, and have fun.
Holey Moley delivers a vibrant experience packed with nostalgic charm and pop culture nods. Visitors can explore three immersive mini-golf courses featuring 27 uniquely themed holes, including Santa Monica exclusive designs like “Friendless Summer,” inspired by an iconic TV beach, and “Beware the Drop Bears,” a playful journey through the Australian outback. Classic fan-favorites like “Tee Rex” and “Morning Tee with Granny” add to the lineup, ensuring endless entertainment for all ages. The fun doesn’t stop with mini golf. A state-of-the-art karaoke room invites up to 15 guests to channel their inner rockstars, belting out hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s to today’s chart toppers.
Holey Moley’s food and drink offerings are as imaginative as its courses. Signature cocktails like the “Rub A Dub in the Tub”—a gin, Aperol, and prosecco concoction served in a bathtub-shaped glass—add flair, while spirit-free options and mouthwatering bites like Nashville hot chicken sliders and churros with dulce de leche satisfy every craving. Exclusive to the Santa Monica location are fresh creations like zesty cucumber spears with lime, jalapeño, and Tajin, and “It’s All in the Hips,” a tequila-based cocktail topped with watermelon foam.
Holey Moley is more than a destination—it’s a gathering place for celebrations of all kinds. From bachelor and bachelorette parties to corporate team-building events, the venue offers customizable packages for every budget. Its interactive atmosphere promotes real-life connections, creating memorable experiences that outshine the digital. Beyond entertainment, Holey Moley prioritizes community impact, creating 40 jobs in the West Los Angeles area with benefits like paid leave, health coverage, and career development opportunities. Funlab is proud to provide a safe and inclusive space for both employees and guests, including its support of the LGBTQ+ community. “It is an honor to open our doors in such an iconic location,” said Funlab CEO Michael Schreiber. “We’ve designed this space to encourage connection and joy through shared experiences, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to Holey Moley Santa Monica.”
