‘Hightown’ Cast Talks Third and Final Season

‘Hightown’ is releasing its third and final season of the hit show.

The crime and drama series that has taken control of television screens since 2020, is about to come to an end. I had the pleasure of sitting down with the cast, to get an inside look into the jam-packed series finale.

Rebecca Cutter is the mastermind behind ‘Hightown’. She has created a show with many twists and turns, while simultaneously keeping it character and female forward. This formula for the show has the audience invested to see the final state of the characters. Cutter states that, “everybody ends in their final form this season,” and says if you look back, the ending seems “inevitable”. Even though Cutter’s series is coming to an end, she is giving the fans, “everything they can ask for” in this final season.

Jackie Quiñones, portrayed by Monica Raymund, is still trying to find her footing going into season three. From her sobriety journey with highs and lows, to being consumed by on-going murder investigations, Raymund tells us that Jackie is still, “[figuring] out how to find her own redemption and redemption for those who have been hurt in the world.” We’ve seen Jackie go through trial and error within the first two seasons, but will she finally be able to stay sober? Or will this investigation keep looming over her head?

During my conversations with the cast, you can feel the admiration they all have for their co-stars. The sense of friendship brings, in Raymund’s words, “so much joy, even though it’s such a dark show.”

The final season of ‘Hightown’ is available to stream on Starz.
