Last Friday The Knockturnal attended the HCA Awards 2023 Red Carpet at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills. A24’s Everything Everywhere All at Once led the awards with seven wins, including Best Picture.

Some of the winners this year include Brendan Fraser for Best Actor for his incredible performance in The Whale as well as Michelle Yeoh for her role in Everything Everywhere all at Once. SS Rajamouli’s RRR took home four trophies including Best International Film and Best Action Film.

The stars of some of the best films this past year decided to stop by as well. Jenny Slate (Best Voice or Motion Capture Performance, Marcel the Shell with Shoes On) made an appearance after taking the win in her category.. Violet McGraw, who’s performance in M3GAN as “Cady” was exceptional (especially for a child actress), was also in attendance.

We had the the opportunity to speak to some of the talents behind the scenes, and asked them some questions about their films and the hard work that went into it.
