Gorgon City Galvanizes Fans with Album Release Party at Output

Output’s rooftop is a reflection of its local community. It’s overpriced, exclusive, and comfortable.

Unlike the venue’s larger spaces below, it doesn’t lend itself to a rave-type atmosphere. You’re more likely to admire a glowing sunset in the distance than dance wildly to seizure-inducing light shows and earth-shattering bass drops. But even in cramped New York City spaces, UK-based electronic duo Gorgon City are able to generate currents of galvanizing energy that make any small dancefloor feel as large as a 10,000 square foot Ibiza EDM castle.

The Knockturnal went to Williamsburg last Thursday to check out their release party for Escape, a highly-anticipated album that has already received worthy hype from Rinse FM and BBC Radio 1. Check out the moments below to experience it for yourself.

Escape drops this week on August 10th.
