Gita Omri Unveils Fall 2024 Collection ‘Unclassified’ During NYFW

At the heart of this collection, is the New York based designer’s lived experiences as an Israeli American.

Sunday February 11th, Gita Omri showcases ‘Unclassified’ at White Space Chelsea, a versatile, contemporary venue in the center of Manhattan.

The F24 presentation resembles more of an art exhibition versus the typical runway show. Guests sip champagne as they wondrously gaze at the variety of models acutely aligned and posing in place.

‘Unclassified’ muses sartorial utility, taking pieces like midi and maxi dresses, and outerwear, and constructing a blend of uniformity and whimsicality. The unique garments are made up of earthy tones like green, yellow, and khaki with fabrications like silk, embroidered lace, and yarn-dyed Melton plaid coatings.

“This collection is a reflection of my emotional reaction to the war in Gaza,” states Omri. She continues, “I couldn’t help but reflect back on my time in the military in these troubled times.”

Gita Omri, founded by Gita Omri Brown is a luxury womenswear fashion brand made for all women sizes 0-30. The New York based brand is committed to utilize fashion as a tool to embrace authenticity, self-confidence and to empower women of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds.
