Game Time in the Windy City

The Washington Wizards are currently two spots out of the play off race. John Wall is determined to help his team confirm a playoff spot but tonight they would have to defeat the 8th seed Chicago Bulls.

Although, Jimmy Butler, Derrick Rose, Nikola Mirotic were inactive the Bulls managed to win 109-104. Overall, it was the Bulls selfless team effort that willed them to victory. Seven players reached double figures but Doug McDermott was very impressive. He had a thunderous dunk on the third quarter over Markieff Morris that kept the crowd energetic.

However, the Wizards displayed resiliency due to the leadership of their franchise player John Wall. Wall was quiet tonight but still contributed 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists. Noticeably, Wall needs more assistance from his team if they want to make the playoffs. The Trade for Markieff Morris will be beneficial for longevity but they would have to manufacture their consistency now, in order to win ball games.

The regular season is coming to an end; most teams have 26 games left to establish their identities. As for the Wizards they will remain on the road to face the last place Philadelphia 76ers (8-49) Friday, February 26th at 7:00pm.
