‘Game of Thrones’ Season 8 will air in 2019

Do not panic. I repeat. Do not panic! HBO’s biggest series Game of Thrones season 8 is set to air in 2019.

Maybe this is because Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) is marrying Ygritte (Rose Leslie) this year. Yes, a true on/off-screen romance is finally tying their knots and no, this time they are not related.

Well, there seems to be not exact time or date when season 8 will premiere, but let’s hope the earlier the better. We need to get on with the show even though I am sure we are all sad to see it end in this final season.

This time instead of seven episodes like the previous, there will be one short.

Season 7 left off with Khalessi’s (Emilia Clarke) dragon turned by the Night King, Jamie Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) leaving the queen, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) and Jon Snow convincing Khaleesi to come with him to the North. The finale was the most watched episode of the entire history with 12.1 million watching live. That just shows how amazing it was.

So no more negative talk, they this be the year we rematch all our favorite episodes to keep us calm and get ready for a Game of the Throne-less year.
