What to help local food and beverage entrepreneurs in your neighborhood? Samuel Adams give us a glimpse into how!

This past week, Samuel Adams hosted its philanthropic program, Brewing the American Dream, at NYC’s Chelsea Market. The program was created as a way to support small food and beverage business owners across the country by increasing their access to networks, business coaching and capital. Brewer and Director of Partnerships for Samuel Adams, Jennifer Glanville details that the program “has loaned $86 million dollars to food and beverage entrepreneurs all across the country” and “have coached and mentored 13,000 people“. One of the major highlights of the program is its free events hosted across the country such as speed coaching and networking; this is what NYC attendees were in a treat for last week.

The NYC seminar was a great introduction to what Brewing the American Dream offers to those looking to get their foot in the food/beverage industry. The night kicked off with a panel of Master Food Stylist, Chef Elle Simone Scott and Samuel Adams’ Brand Storyteller, Dave Wells. They discussed their career journey and shared tips on how to build a brand and cater to an audience. The night then led into various breakout groups where attendees had 30 minutes of coaching sessions in digital marketing, photography and food styling. To end the event, there was a book signing of Chef Elle’s new book, Boards: Stylist Spreads for Casual Gatherings.
