I recently sat down for an exclusive interview with the cast of the all-new series, FATAL ATTRACTION.
FATAL ATTRACTION is a deep dive reimagining of the 1980s cultural touchstone through the lens of privilege, personality disorders, family dynamics, and murder. The series revolves around Daniel Gallagher, played by Joshua Jackson, who is paroled after serving 15 years in prison for the murder of Alexandra Forrest, portrayed by Lizzy Caplan. Dan’s parole goals are to reconnect with his family and prove his innocence. However, his world begins to unravel when he meets Alex in 2008, and their brief affair threatens to destroy the life he’s built with his wife, Beth, played by Amanda Peet.
The cast also includes Toby Huss as Mike Gerard, Brian Goodman as Arthur Tomlinson, Alyssa Jirrels as Ellen Gallagher, and Reno Wilson as Detective Earl Brooker.
The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and executive produced by Alexandra Cunningham, the writer and showrunner. She worked alongside executive producer Kevin J. Hynes. The series is also executive produced by Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey for Amblin Television. Silver Tree also served as an executive producer and directed five episodes.
During the interview, the cast provided insights into their characters, their preparation for their roles, and their experiences working on the series. They also discussed the challenges and excitement of bringing this iconic story to a modern audience.
FATAL ATTRACTION is a gripping series that provides a fresh perspective on the original story. I am confident that viewers will be on the edge of their seats while watching.
