Fall Fitness Challenge With Celebrity Trainer Christian Castano [Week Eight]

This fall a fitness challenge took place this season and was a great success.

During the past eight weeks a diet and training plan was put in place by celebrity fitness trainer Christian Castano. It was an effort done as a team and led to healthy weight-loss of 19.4 pounds total with a drop in two dress sizes.

“We did this together,” said Castano. “That is the beauty of working with a trainer. It is not about me. It is not about you. It is about the journey we are on together.”

Twice a week we worked out at the wonderful Tribeca Health & Fitness Gym and completed a series of body movements dedicated to shaping and toning arms, legs and the core. We stuck to a low-carb diet with healthy meals rich in nutrients such as fish, asparagus and sweet potatoes. And everyday we pushed our cardio levels to new soaring heights.

Before Training

Not every moment was easy, but that was why it was called a challenge. It was not just about trying to look skinnier. It was about winning at life and the battle for greater health.

After Eight Weeks

And, now that the eight weeks are finished the challenge will continue. A great, new lifestyle has just begun. Thank you Christian. Here is to many more fun, active days ahead.
