F/W ’20 Son Jung Wan Brings Vintage Back

The whimsical Son Jung Wan debuts a 1950s-inspired F/W ’20 collection that dazzles in a kaleidoscope of colors.

Wan’s talent is most evident in the ingenious details: the winged brush of a cat-eye mimicking the ruffled flounce of a peplum, the masterful draping of a high-collared dress, stunning jewel-encrusted buttons and pins gently placed atop a garment.

Wan’s shows are always a NYFW favorite, and her Fall/Winter collection proved to match all types of wintry weather in a diverse array of hues.

From champagne to red to powder blue to an intoxicating neon green paired with navy plaid, the men’s and women’s wear collection was both a nod to the past and present, while leaving guests eager for the future fall.

Attendees like Amir Arison, Eric West, Tashiana Washington, and Julie Mintz were among the industry insiders sitting front row.

To close out the show, Wan returned to her signature sparkles, reminding us all how brightly her brand shines.
