Exclusive: Susan Kelechi Watson Opens Up About Writing the “This Is Us” Finale

In 2016, NBC’s ‘This Is Us’ took the television world by storm when it introduced the world to the Pearson family.

This series has captivated countless viewers with its unique approach to storytelling, weaving the tales of so many over the course of decades – culminating in the curtain call of the TV drama’s final season.

The Knockturnal sat down with Susan Kelechi Watson (Beth Pearson), who stepped into the writer’s chair for episode six, teaming up with show writer Eboni Freeman. This episode highlights Susan’s character Beth in a blooming moment that fans have been waiting to see for the past six years.
