EXCLUSIVE: Murray Hill and Jon Hudson Odom Talk Somebody Somewhere

Somebody Somewhere is coming soon on HBO and HBO Max.

HBO’s new show follows Sam (Bridget Everett) as she navigates life. She faces the struggles through loss and acceptance while searching for her place in small town Kansas. She finds a community of other outsiders who are finding their way and place in their world. These outsiders live relentlessly and care for each other on their self-love journey.

Comedian and singer Bridget Everett leads in this series and also is the executive producer. Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen are the creators and executive producers of this new series. Jeff Hiller comes alongside as Joel, as his character is finding his way through pain and confusion. The cast also includes Mary Catherine Garrison, Danny McCarthy, Mike Hagerty, Murray Hill, Jon Hudson Odom, Heidi Johanningmeier and Jane Brody.

The Knockturnal recently interviewed Murray Hill and Jon Hudson Odom. They told us their stories of being cast in this show and the stories behind their characters. Jon said told us about the uniquely relatable story and called it “a true love story of self love.” Murray Hill explained this show as “a bunch of misfits and outsiders coming together and creating their own chosen family.” Both actors explained their inspiration behind their creative work both on and off screen. Somebody Somewhere debuts Sunday January 16th (10:30-11:00p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and HBO Max.
