Exclusive: Mashonda Tifrere Curates SunChips Art Seen Collection Spotlighting Underrepresented Artists [Video]

Mashonda Tifrere is teaming up with SunChips to amplify the work of underrepresented artists as part of the brand’s latest Art Seen campaign.

In addition to being an incredibly talented singer, art curator, art collector, and diversity advocate, Mashonda Tifrere is adding a partnership with SunChips to her fantastic list of accomplishments. Through working with the largely popular snack brand, Tifrere will champion underrepresented artists through SunChips’ Art Seen initiative.

As the founder of advocacy organizations ArtLeadHER and Art Genesis, Mashonda Tifrere is taking her expertise with art to working alongside SunChips in curating a three-day exhibit in Miami during one of the most prominent moments in the global art scene.

The stunning show will feature 12 artists who represent various dimensions of difference, from race to culture to gender and more. Moreover, the show will give these talented individuals a chance to have their art featured on more than 20 million SunChips bags and in SunChips advertising next year.

“The fact that I get to express not only a vision that needs to be realized, but I get to express something that’s really important to me,” Mashonda Tifrere said of what she is most proud of about working with SunChips. “Having the opportunity to bring together such a diverse group of artists and SunChips allowing the artists this space to present their work is special.”
