Dust off your spurs, cowboys! The church of Yellowstone is back on Sunday nights. Taking cliffhangers to the next level, audiences were rocked by the attack on the Dutton family during the finale of season 3. Season 4 has kicked off with the Duttons seeking answers… and vengeance. And… Hamburger Helper.
Stars Kelsey Asbille and Wes Bentley tell The Knockturnal‘s Kinsey Schofield that everything changes in season 4. Kelsey experiences a metamorphosis in upcoming episodes. Once a ride or die to her husband, Kayce Dutton, Kelsey’s “Monica” has transformed into a tough momma bear that is sick of sacrifice. This will-they-or-won’t-they love affair brings so much heart to the powerhouse series.
Wes’ character Jamie Dutton, the family’s black sheep, seems to be navigating vulnerability as he desperately clings to the father that he never knew. Is Prison Papa setting him up for heartbreak? Will Jamie ever reunite with the Dutton family? Wes wouldn’t give us a clue! But he does tell us what Kevin Costner smells like. And it’s every bit as amazing as you would imagine.
There’s no telling where season 4 of Yellowstone will take us… but we are enjoying the ride!
