Exclusive: Karl Urban, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty & Cast Talk ‘The Boys’ Season 3 On Amazon Prime [Video]

The first three episodes of Season 3 of The Boys premiered on Amazon Prime Video on June 3rd.

In season 2, fans were able to experience a complex storyline that incorporated prominent social issues that affect society. The series went beyond the superheroes and the corporation they work for to include conversations about institutional problems such as racism, greed, and capitalism. In the finale of season 2, the characters are all seen going their separate ways, and at the start of season 3, viewers can see the various moments and changes occurring in their lives. The character development is represented differently for each of them, which creates an added layer to the series’ overall dimension.

In Season 3, the tension between Homelander and Billy Butcher, played by Anthony Starr and Karl Urban, reaches new levels. The popularity of Homelander begins to diminish as his past actions are questioned, and his behavior becomes more self-destructive. As the season progresses, new information is learned about his character that deepens the storyline between him and Butcher. The Boys are presented with a mysterious Anti-Supe weapon, which allows them to even out the fight in the impending war with the seven.

The Knockturnal spoke with some of the cast about Season 3 and what can be expected to be seen throughout the series.
