Josh Peck co-stars with a big lovable dog in this new series. A show for the whole family, filled with action and comedy. The series is based on the 1989 movie by the same name, staring Tom Hanks. Josh Peck plays the role of of Scott Turner the son of Detective Scott Turner, played originally by Tom Hanks. Reginald Veljohnson originally played across Tom Hanks in the original movie and returns in this series and plays the part of “Mayor David Sutton.” With new characters and new adventures, the new series tells the exciting story of man’s best friend.
The Knockturnal recently interviewed much of the cast of this series including: Josh Peck, Carra Patterson, Lyndsy Fonseca, Vanessa Lengies, Brandon Jay McLaren, Jeremy Maguire, Anthony Ruivivar, Reginald VelJohnson, and Becca Tobin. The cast explained the joys and challenges of filming during the pandemic and with a dog as a lead character. They shared how there was amazing synergy and teamwork on this project. Carra said, “We had this tight-knit group of people. It was the best group, you couldn’t ask for a better group to spend that time with.” You don’t want to miss the energy, humor, and action they bring to this series.
