Exclusive: Jamie Hector Talks Final Season of Amazon’s ‘Bosch’ & Nonprofit Work with Moving Mountains [Video]

Jamie Hector says goodbye to detective Jerry Edgar in the seventh and final season of Bosch, streaming Friday, June 25th, on Amazon.

After seven successful seasons, Amazon’s hit series Bosch is coming to an end. Based on the book series of the same name, the gritty, high-stakes crime drama became Amazon’s longest-running and most popular series, helping to solidify Amazon as a competitive streaming service.

Taking a deep dive into the homicide division of the L.A.P.D, Bosch doesn’t shy away from departmental politics, gruesome crimes, and controversial tactics used to pursue criminals in Los Angeles. Jamie Hector, who plays Jerry Edgar, the partner of titular character Harry Bosch, is saying goodbye in a dramatic way. While he’s usually a sharp-dressing, no-nonsense homicide detective, Edgar’s façade begins to unravel. As the consequences of an unfortunate decision begin to derail his professional life and spill over into his personal life, Edgar is left to confront these repercussions. As the series comes to a close, Edgar and his fellow detectives are forced to look inward and decide what they’re willing to sacrifice to achieve justice.
