Exclusive Interview: Big Time Rush’s ‘Another Life’ – Insights on Their Return and Artistic Journey

After nearly a decade, the beloved band Big Time Rush has announced the highly anticipated release of their fourth album, ‘Another Life.’

Big Time Rush has secured their status as a household name, captivating a devoted fan base that has grown alongside them.

The musical group, comprising members Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson, James Maslow, and Carlos PenaVega, began their journey on the self-titled Nickelodeon television show, airing in 2009. Following a seven-year hiatus in 2014, the group triumphantly returned in 2021, announcing live performances and making their mark with new music.

In anticipation of their upcoming record, BTR has unleashed a musical treat with the release of two captivating singles: “Can’t Get Enough” and “Waves.”

During the discussion about their new album, ‘Another Life,’ Kendall and Logan discussed how their individual music tastes played powerful influences in shaping the album. Kendall highlighted the incorporation of an extensive range of musical themes ranging from R&B to Hyper-pop and various meaningful influences.They discussed how they strike a balance between creating music that resonates with their artistry and paying homage to the musical influences of their earlier work.

Big Time Rush’s music has ingrained itself into the lives of their fanbase that has grown alongside them, their music becoming a soundtrack to childhood memories and cherished times. We also discussed how it feels for them to be interacting with their fans, both musically and alongside the band. “This band has always wanted to be generational…” Logan explains.

As their music continues to shape the life soundtracks of their undoubtedly dedicated fanbase, Big Time Rush is set to grow even stronger in their artistry, as a group, and alongside their fans. The group remains to stand as and represent a positive force of connection, with a bright future full of endless possibilities ahead.

‘Another Life’ is released on all streaming platforms on June 2nd, as well as the ‘Can’t Get Enough Tour’ beginning just weeks later on 6/22 in Fort Worth, Texas.
