When a distressed country star comes across a family in need of some color in their black and white lives, she finds herself chasing her dreams while being managed by a 12-year-old boy, played by none other than Griffin McIntyre.

The son of  New Kids On The Block’s Joey McIntyre and Barrett Williams, Griffin is no stranger to a life full of music, and his long-standing relationship with it shines through in his immaculate performance in Netflix’s new series Country Comfort.

Katherine McPhee stars as Bailey, a young country singer who finds herself at a crossroads in her life and career, and takes a nanny job for a family who has lost their mother, and in turn, she introduces music back into their lives. Her manager, 12-year-old Dylan, shows his own passions in the way that he carries music throughout his self-expression in the show. It’s beautiful as it is wholesome and it’s the perfect family show for this time of year. Griffin talks about relating to his character through his own musical background and how that influence affected his performance.
