Exclusive: ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Pro Britt Stewart Talks Partnership with BAND-AID® Brand OURTONE®

Britt Stewart’s non-profit Share the Movement and BAND-AID® Brand OURTONE® recently partnered up to host a series of dance clinics that help empower youth within Black and Brown communities.

Stewart joined Dancing with the Stars during season 29 and became the first black female professional on the show. Around this time, she began her non-profit Share The Movement, whose mission is to promote diversity within the professional dance space. The organization provides financial, educational, and inspirational support to promising young BIPOC dancers. Together, Stewart and BAND-AID® Brand OURTONE® joined forces to host three free dance clinics in Atlanta, New York, and Los Angeles.

In addition to the classes, the two also teamed up to celebrate National Dance Day on September 16th by hosting a giveaway that gave people a chance to win some of Stewart’s favorite dance essentials, including BAND-AID® Brand OURTONE® Bandages.

The Knockturnal spoke with Stewart about her partnership and the importance for her organization and BAND-AID® Brand OURTONE® to uplift BIPOC youth and embrace the beauty of diverse skin tones. She also discussed her excitement going into Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars and shared some advice for those who have a passion for dance and want to do it professionally.
