‘As We See It’ follows three twenty-something roommates on the autism spectrum as they navigate their relationships, their goals, and their lives over the course of the eight episodes.
The show has a coming-of-age-style to it, and follows Rick Glassman’s character Jack, Albert Rutecki’s character Harrison, and Sue Ann Pien’s character Violet. The three characters each go on different but equally compelling journeys of self-discovery and growth, with the series perfectly showcasing the highs and lows, victories and defeats, and everything in between that comes with living life in your twenties.
Joe Mantegna also stars in As We See It as Lou, Jack’s father, with Sosie Bacon and Chris Pang rounding out the cast. Bacon plays Mandy — Jack, Harrison, and Violet’s aide, while Pang portrays Van, Violet’s brother.
Emmy Award-winer Jason Katims serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer of the show. “I was inspired because I have a son on the spectrum” Katims says of where he got the idea to share the powerful stories presented in As We See It.
All episodes of As We See It are now streaming exclusively on Prime Video.
