Exclusive: Anthony Ramos Talks ‘Transformers: Rise of The Beasts’

Brooklyn native Anthony Ramos has dominated the entertainment world over the last few years, from his performances in the original Broadway cast of Hamilton to Usnavi in In The Heights, and his latest role in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is no exception. Ramos, known for his electrifying performances on stage and screen, brings charisma, depth, and a touch of Brooklyn grit to the character of Noah Diaz, a fellow Brooklynite and ex-military electronics expert caught up in an epic battle between the Autobots, Maximals, and Terrorcons.

Ramos, who hails from Bushwick, felt a personal connection to his character. Growing up in a tight-knit community, he explained how he could relate to the struggles faced by Noah, a man desperately trying to take care of his family. With his magnetic presence and undeniable talent, Ramos effortlessly captures Noah’s determination and resourcefulness.

In the film, Noah finds himself thrust into an extraordinary adventure when he stumbles upon Mirage, an Autobot spy voiced by Pete Davidson. The unlikely duo embarks on a mission to save the world, forming a bond that transcends their mechanical nature.
