Kim Crawford Wines threw a lavish launch party for their brand new sophisticated and succulent Extraordinary Rosè. The party went down at the luxe Beverly Hills Hotel. I had an extraordinarily good time.
A well-heeled and, frankly, gorgeous crowd sipped on the fine rosè dished out by servers. The rosè was paired with appetizers ranging from fried chicken bites to deliciously prepared steak bites. A packed-to-the-gills bar served the rosè in a stunning cocktail made from rose water, tonic and lime. Fresh is an understatement. I had three of these.
DJ Harley Viera-Newton was pumping some very fine r&b. I got every part of my life as she moved flawlessly from Frank Ocean to Kanye West. Definitely gave her props on my way out. Actress Emma Roberts was also spotted at the bash.
An r&b singer played acoustic guitar and slayed us with covers and sultry original tunes. His songs blended perfectly with the posh surroundings. I started a modest dance party. Definitely proud of myself.
A caricaturist attracted a big crowd near the party’s entrance. I desperately wanted to be drawn, but I wanted to spend more time sipping cocktails.
The Crawford cool Summer cocktail, made of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, sparkling water and Crème de Cassis, popped in my mouth. It was fruity, fresh, and perfect for a Spring evening.
The rosè, however, was the star of the show, and I blissfully made friends throughout the evening buoyed by it’s subtle and savory notes. I will be buying this soon.
