Eleven Madison Park Debut Their Latest Madison Square Flavors

The Bake it Nice pop-up is not just your regular pop-up – it’s a cultural event.

This past October, Eleven Madison Park’s Bake it Nice made its highly anticipated mid-Fall return.  And this season, the pastry chef Laura Cronin at Eleven Madison Park takes this seasonal delight to the next level, delivering her new Spiced Caramel & Pear, and Candied Pecan & Chocolate squares.

And this season, we got our hands on these two highly anticipated squares.  It is worth noting that as we approached the restaurant, you could smell the squares before you even made eye contact with the storefront.  And once we had these squares in hand, we had to dig in right then and there.  Each square is buttery, flaky, having croissant-type pastry dough, not being too sweet up front, which lets the sweet and decadent filling take over.  Our favorite was the Spiced Caramel & Pear square, where it felt like a bit of Fall.  The spiced caramel had the perfect amount of baking spices in it, like clove and cinnamon, which accentuated the pear perfectly.  The Candied Pecan and Chocolate square was delicious as well, practically a chocolate lover’s dream.  The nuttiness of the candied pecans balanced out the decadent chocolate perfectly.

For the foodies and sweet treat fans, check out the next Bake it Nice pop-up at Eleven Madison Park.
