ÉCOLE Opens Pop Up Site at LA’s The Standard

ÉCOLE, a site that was founded in 2014, just kicked off their first location, at downtown Los Angeles’ The Standard, located at 550 S. Flower Street. ÉCOLE, which was built as a youth targeted website, hopes to help men better shop for clothes through the use of intuitive technology and user interaction.

The pop up store features several 55 inch LED screens in the lobby of the hotel that will allow for guests to search up whatever clothes are best suited for them. For guests of the hotel and of the public alike, the screens are open for use 24 hours a day, and for an added bonus, hotel guests will receive a $100 credit for their purchase and on site visitors will get $50.

ÉCOLE hopes to appeal to a younger audience not only with its approach to leave everything to be more technical, but also in fully understanding what people of this generation are interested in. The company skips seasonal collections and focuses on several statistics for what men are interested in wearing. Anything from basics and essentials to LA based designers like Hiro Clark, Simon Miller, and more, are featured at ÉCOLE.

ÉCOLE’s CEO and founder, Jorge A. Cosano, has recently stated, “We want to change the way men discover and buy fashion online and that means doing things a little differently. We want to build real solutions that minimize the challenges men have with traditional ecommerce experiences. The new generation of men wants to know what is going on in the cultural scenes of cities like NY and LA and what brands are cool.”

It seems like ÉCOLE has done just that. It’s close relationships with designers allow for a curated look to searching for what to wear, all in a seamless manner. Most evident is how one shops online, with how they changed the countless rows and columns of clothes and now show the clothes up and personal, as if one were to actually wear them.

ÉCOLE will remain at The Standard through the end of September, right up until LA Fashion Week. For those who can’t make the trip to the hotel, check out the site here.
