Don’t Know What to Watch? Look to the Stars– and Amazon Prime Video

Mercury is in retrograde, and it’s clear we all need a little break, whether it’s from work, significant others, or even just the endless scroll of never knowing what to watch when to watch it.

Thankfully, Amazon Prime Video has compiled a complete list to redefine binging: and it all starts with our astrological signs. Yes, this is the sign you need to change things up, at least when it comes to your watchlist.

For all you magical Libras out there braving through retrograde to ring in your birthdays (September 23 –October 22), tap into whimsical films like Prime Video’s Cinderella starring Camila Cabello, Idina Menzel, and Billy Porter; Funny Face with Barbra Streisand; Cameron Diaz and Toni Collette’s sister dramedy In Her Shoes; or try TV series Making the Cut for a dash of fashion, or LuLaRich which has become the new viral binge. Plus, strip down and get comfy for the highly-anticipated third installment of Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Show, which premiered Sept. 24 on the streaming platform. Libra-centric podcasts include Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain, Dressed: The History of Fashion, or Wondery’s Rich and Daily. What, we can dream about a life of luxury too!

Next comes spooky Scorpio season (October 23 –November 22), and Amazon Prime Video has a special treat for all you Halloween lovers with the Now Screaming genre-based community focused on horror thrillers. I Know What You Did Last Summer the series premieres Oct. 15, making the perfect excuse to watch all of the IKWYDLS series, also available on the platform. And, to celebrate the launch of Now Screaming, Prime Video brings some of its most chilling titles to life with the House of Horrors: A Prime Video Pop Up Shop in West Hollywood, Los Angeles from October 1-November 1. The pop up show will feature show-inspired costume displays from Amazon Originals such as The Voyeurs,Black As Night (premiering 10/1) and Madres (premiering 10/8). Customers will also experience spooky twists throughout the pop-up and will go home with fun prizes.

Scorpios also may want to indulge in fan-favorite The Wilds to bring out their adventurous side or listen to the Dr. Death podcast.

Head into the holidays with Sagittarius (November 23 –December 21) and embrace the carpe diem vibes from Brittany Runs a Marathon and Emmy-winning The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Prime Reading also offers at no additional cost to Prime members access to books like The Overdue Life of Amy Byler by Kelly Harms and For the Love of Friends by Sara Goodman Codino.

Brace for the sophisticated Capricorn era (December 22 –January 19) with powerhouse dramas including The Social Network, Glennon Doyle’s podcast We Can Do Hard Things, and memoir Everything My Mother Taught Me by Alice Hoffman.

Visionary sign Aquarius (January 20 –February 18) is prime for a sci-fi kick with series Wheel of Time premiering on Nov. 19, film Bliss, and Neil deGrasse Tyson’s podcast Startalk Radio. Stay in the zodiac mindset by reading Before the Broken Star by Emily R. King.

Pisces (February 19 –March 20) people are artistic folk, so it’s no wonder cult classic Center Stage and critically-acclaimed Sound of Metal are recommended viewing. Turn up Dolly Parton’s America podcast before learning about the Magic of Manifesting with Ryuu Shinohara.

Aries (March 21 –April 19) is technically the first sign of the zodiac and leans towards adventure. Amazon Prime Original series The Boys would be perfect for an Aries audience, or even the hilariously twisted whodunnit film Knives Out. Wondery’s American Scandal is also a must-listen.

Hopeless romantic Taurus (April 20 –May 20) is inclined to stream rom-coms, ranging from (500) Days of Summer to anthology series Modern Love. Read The Last Anniversary by Liane Moriarty, The Mixtape by Brittiany Cherry, or The Upside of Falling by Alex Light to keep things light.

Geminis (May 21 –June 21) are rumored to have two personalities: feed both with films like Election and Death at a Funeral, before streaming Emmy-winning Fleabag.
A Cancer (June 22 –July 22) is most likely looking for meaningful movies like Beautiful Boy and Uncle Frank.
Meanwhile, Leos (July 23 –August 22) just want to have fun! Listen to podcast Dying For Sex or rock out to playlist Control Alt Repeat.
Lastly, meticulous perfectionists Virgos (August 23 –September 22) should unwind with Water For Elephants, or Mindy Kaling’s Amazon Original Stories Big Shot.
