Digable Planets Announce Reunion Tour

Can we call it a comeback? Digable Planets is making an Earthly landing with the announcing of a reunion tour.

Butterfly, Doodlebug, Ladybug Mecca formed an alternative hip hop group in the early 90s. Their sounds and lyricism made them unforgettable which spoke to generations from the golden era and on. The group hit barriers in their career with three albums and a top charting single.

Digable Planets is best know for 1992 cut “Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)” a smooth record that defined how cool black culture really is.

After a New Year’s Eve reunion show last year in Seattle, the group hinted at the ideas of going on tour.  Now the trio entertained the thought into a full summer tour, with their first stop at Sasquatch.

If you’re “Cool Like Dat” check out the super group when they hit your city.
