Pop artist Dev premiered her new single “Lowkey” on Beats 1 and Apple Music at the end of January.
Dev wishes for a girl whose very “Lowkey” in a relationship in the track. She hopes for someone who is down to sit around with friends and eat mac and cheese, and doesn’t worry so much about the her past. The whole song is very soft and calm despite having several electronic and vocal manipulation elements. The single was produced by Nanosaur and co-written by Lil Aaron and can now be streamed on Spotify or you can listen to it below.
The singer is familiar with singles going platinum with Far East Movement with “Like a G6,” and hits “Kiss it” from her most recent EP Bittersweet July and “Honey Dip” from Bittersweet July 2. Her Youtube Channel states that their will be a new album from her this year and the single will be available on iTunes and other digital retailers soon.
At the moment there is only one tour date announced, March 18, at Roger Williams University, but with an album on the way and the possible appearance of more chill electro-pop tracks, there are sure to be more dates to come this year.
