deTROIT Spring/Summer 2016 Collection

Welcoming a fresh face to the NYFW atmosphere, menswear label deTROIT presented an eccentric collection at Skylight Studious.

Walking in the collection was shown presentation style for people to get a personable look at the collection at hand. Blazers, trousers with eccentric styles, and a very dark color palette was an usual turn for this spring/ summer collection. One amazing aspect about the collection was that the models wore no shoes but instead their feet were painted red. I asked the designer what inspired him to paint the models feet red and he simply stated “Due to budget cuts.”. Innovative, quick, and great presentation for the guys over at deTROIT.
