Dennis Basso’s Fall/Winter 2017 will make you feel luxurious, fabulous, and fierce.
The popular New York designer drew a front row fit for a royalty with Paris and Nicky Hilton, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, Diana Guerrero, Anna Camp, Bryan Boy and more celebrities in attendance.
Basso said: “The Fall 2017 collection is inspired by the international woman who while on romantic journeys through textured landscapes embraces worldly moments with a carefree mind.”
Basso’s fur pieces were the stunners of the night. He presented mink, sable coats, and a lynx poncho. Most of his coats had fishnet turtlenecks that added a glamour flare. In this collection there was a total of 67 looks on the runway.
He had an earth-tone color palette with colors like brown mixing with different shades to Mocha, Cinnamon, Ombre and Gold.
One of his first looks was the Mocha Fox hooded fur jacket with a fishnet turtleneck matched with a cinnamon charmeuse skirt made from silk that flowed eloquently.
He used the charmeuse to create many other looks like a slip dresses and beautiful gowns.
Basso created a perfectly pleated cocktail dress and made from silk of velvet, many of which he paired over fishnet tops.
Since choker necklaces are coming back in season Basso puts his flair on them by creating lynx covered necklaces.
He managed to transform velvet into high-fashion pants, and jackets, and hand-embroidered his gowns dresses and coats with floral embroidery.
Dennis blew people away with his silhouettes and slim drapings. He layered his pieces with chiffon and velvet in all the right places.
