Bowe’s change of musical direction is a good look for him!
The Grammy Award-winning Singer hosted a private listening session at The Cutting Room Studios in New York on Wednesday 7/19.
“I feel like this [the album] is God’s kiss,” says Bowe.
As a former member of the Bethel Music Collective and Maverick City Music, Bowe is widely known for his work in Christian worship. The release of the new album is through TRUE Music, a label that Bowe co-founded and announced to the public earlier this year.
The singer-songwriter’s new self-titled album pivots his usual genre and is a shift in his music style. The album features 14 tracks that collectively represent Bowe’s body of his work as his own.
Bowe fuses R&B & hip-hop tracks like “Wind Me Up” featuring Anthony B and “Breaking All My Rules” featuring Vic Mensa. Though Bowe begins to pave his own way as an artist with this album, he stays true to his faith and continues to release Gospel tracks like “Glory to God.”
“It’s giving people hope for the future,” says Bowe. He Continues “Not just for me, but for my family, my friends, and you guys too.”
Dante Bowe’s self-titled album was officially released Friday, July 21st , and is available now on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.
