City Girls and Flo Milli Perform at Billboard Live: R&B/Hip-Hop to Celebrate the 2022 Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players Honorees

Billboard celebrated the unveiling of the much-anticipated 2022 Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Players list and issue with an exclusive reception and Billboard Live: R&B/Hip-Hop concertfeaturing City Girls and Flo Milli.

The global music media brand honored executives across the R&B and Hip-Hop business and celebrated some of the most powerful names in the industry. Celebrities and notable guests in attendance included Nick CannonDaylytDJ Scheme, Ghazi, Warner Records CEO & Co Chairman Aaron Bay-Schuck, Epic Records Chairman & CEO Sylvia Rhone, Rolling Loud Co-Founder and Co-CEO Tariq Cherif, Billboard President Mike Van, Billboard Executive Director of R&B/Hip-Hop Gail Mitchell, Billboard Deputy Director, R&B/Hip-Hop Carl Lamarre, and more.

Grammy® Award-winning, multi-platinum recording artist Future handed out the Rookie of the Year Award to up-and-coming rapper Blxst. Grammy Award-winning, chart-topping, and multi-platinum selling recording artist SZA was also in attendance to present the award for Executive of the Year to Tim Hinshaw, Head of Hip-Hop & R&B at Amazon Music. Editor-In-Chief of VIBE Magazine, Datwon Thomas honored SAINt JHN with the Rémy Martin x Vibe Impact and Excellence Award for his outstanding efforts to help his community and be a mentor to the next generation of musicians.

Following the intimate reception, attendees and eager fans were treated to Billboard’s first-ever consumer event, Billboard Live: R&B/Hip-Hop. Event goers were treated to a hands-on experience as they were able to enjoy the Samsung Galaxy products on display throughout the event as well as several activation booths and photo booths. Additionally, Billboard and the Intel® Evo™ platform launched an exclusive NFT collaboration to support the event. As guests sang along to the high energy performance by Flo Milli, they were able to sip on Rémy Martin cocktails, including  The Rémy SidecarThe Rémy Ginger and The Rémy Old Fashioned, made with Rémy Martin XO, signature of the Cellar Master and a unique blend of up to hundreds of eaux de vie. Flo Milli pumped the crowd up and got them ready for the fan favorite, hit making, City Girls. The duo took the stage to a roar of cheers performing their biggest hits including “Rodeo,” “Where the Bag At,” “Twerk,” “Act Up,” and more.
