Native Angelino Evan Funke, the master pasta maker, pizza maker and chef-owner of LA hotspots Felix Trattoria and Funke, Chicago’s Tre Dita, and Mother Wolf in Vegas, gave guests a sneak peak of what deliciousness awaits this award season last night in Beverly Hills.
Chef Funke showcased his artistry and culinary mastery with a pizza bar and bites that included the Fiori di Zucca (fried squash blossoms), which the crowd couldn’t get enough of.
Not only did he entertain everyone at the event with a preview of his buzzworthy menu… but guests got to see his brilliance in action, watching him make the pizzas — from getting the dough pizza-ready to baking them in the oven.
