Originating from Seattle, WA, Charlie Finch, who also goes by the pseudonym Charlieonnafriday, has successfully propelled his music to viral fame on multiple social media platforms, amassing a devoted fanbase.

The 20-year-old also performed his most recent hit, “Undefeated,” which was prominently featured in a high-profile NFL advertisement, throwing him into a brighter spotlight.

He has grown a solid social media presence with millions of followers. Throughout Charlie’s set, fans in the audience knew every lyric of his music. This performance at The Rooftop Pier 17 is just one of Charlie’s rising career milestones. He has previously embarked on a college tour named “ONNAFRIDAY,” The Seattle native has supported acclaimed acts such as the soulful singer-songwriter Jessie Murph and the iconic pop/rapper Macklemore.

Charlieonnafriday proved to be the perfect catalyst of the evening to ignite the crowd before Tate McRae hit the stage.

The show was a diverse gathering that night, ranging from enthusiastic young tweens to millennials and parents, all united by their shared admiration for Charlie and Tate’s artistry. With fiery emotions and a determination to make their voices heard, the young fans belted out Tate’s lyrics, immersing themselves in her vulnerable music. Seeing so many kids enjoying their first concert and seeing their favorite artists live for the first time was heartwarming.

A standout moment of the night was when the singer-songwriter took a chance to ask individual audience members about their toxic romantic experiences and exes. It reminded the audience that Tate is also just a girl, bringing an intimate chord during the show.

Tate McRae is a multifaceted talent. She dazzled the audience with her exceptional skills in lyricism, vocals, stage presence, and dance, all of which took center stage on the rooftop. Performing a mixture of songs from her debut album, “I Used To Think I Could Fly,” fan favorites, as well as her latest trending single, “greedy“.

At the young age of 20, McRae has experienced a meteoric rise in the music industry over the past few years. With her infamous track “you broke me first” going viral during the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, at the age of 16, McRae’s talent and music connected with millions.
