Jameson claimed the St. Patrick’s Day fun back on Saturday!
Since 2018, we’ve been waiting for St. Patrick’s Day to fall on a Saturday, and the Leap Year almost ruined that for us. Luckily, Jameson came to save the day by declaring their unofficial holiday – St. Patrick’s Eve.
The St. Patrick’s Eve party took place at Beast & Butterflies in Times Square at the M Social hotel. Comedians Michael Che and Colin Jost hosted the party alongside DJ Jus Ske. Jameson Irish Whiskey’s signature cocktails dominated the scene, with drinks like the “Irish Espresso Martini,” “Jameson Orange Mule,” and the “Jameson Ginger and Lime.”
At 8:00 PM, Jameson hosted their own rock drop—a version of the famous Times Square Ball drop ‘on the rocks,’ timed to midnight in Ireland. We gathered on the hotel’s stunning wrap-around patio to witness this event, as Jameson Irish Whiskey is among the first brands ever to drop the Times Square Ball to celebrate a new holiday. So, as you can imagine, it was epic!
The Green Carpet
Some notable faces graced the green carpet, including Lukas Gage, Odelya Halevi, Charity Lawson, Maxwell, Camille Kostek, and more. The Knockturnal caught up with former Bachelorette Charity, and her fiancé Dotun, to get a St. Patrick’s Eve vibe check. Charity was excited to share with us about her future trip to Greece that the couple was gifted from her season. Beyond that, she shared that the two are deep in their wedding planning era. Charity told The Knockturnal that she’s “getting settled with the New York life,” and “trying to embrace the normal life now!”
Lukas Gage and Maxwell also shared their St. Patrick’s Eve mood with us. Although Lukas Gage couldn’t pin down his exact St. Patrick’s Eve vibe (which earned him a little pinch for the lack of green attire), Maxwell told The Knockturnal that he just wants to celebrate, and was excited, saying, “It’s Michael Che and Colin Jost! I’m an SNL fanatic.”
Cory Jeacoma told us that tonight’s vibe is “Perfect cause it’s Jameson. They’re setting it up nice!” He also shared with The Knockturnal on the carpet that he’s “going to be working on an upcoming Broadway musical.” He couldn’t spill all the details, but we’ll be on the lookout!
The St. Patrick’s Eve Overall Vibe
DJ Pee .Wee, also known as Anderson .Paak, took over later in the night and got everyone dancing. He kicked off the night with a Jameson whiskey toast with Michael Che and Colin Jost and told the crowd, “I’m about to do an all-vinyl set, y’all, so I need y’all sweating by the end of it!” We couldn’t resist his groovy set and danced the St. Patrick’s Eve night away.
St. Patrick’s Eve was a hit! From the rock drop, the green carpet, the delicious Jameson cocktail menu, and the music, Jameson really made this unofficial holiday one to remember.
