In the 1950s, the Segura brothers acquired the Can Esbert de Raïm farmhouse and estate. They wasted no time in constructing state-of-the-art cellars and wineries, equipping them with the latest machinery. The brothers embarked on the journey of marketing their own cava, culminating in 1969 with the proud introduction of the renowned Segura Viudas Heredad premium cava.
Currently available in select restaurants around the city, they believe in respecting their roots and have been since the 12th century.
