Last night luxury British watch brand Bremont hosted an exclusive preview of their new 2018 watch collection, including a new limited edition watch developed with, and tested by, the renowned polar explorer Ben Saunders.

Guests mingled and learned about the new collection at the newly installed Bremont Townhouse, which is being housed in the iconic World of McIntosh Townhouse in Nolita. While the brand was only founded in 2002, they’ve wasted no time in courting the right horology fans all across the globe, due in part to their founding principles of aviation and military design and is now one of the top chronometer producers across the globe.

The Terra Nova watch, debuted in 2014, has become an indispensable part of Ben’s arsenal thanks to its light titanium Supermarine with GMT functionality and it’s specially oiled mechanical movement that allows it to function in extremely cold environments such as Antartica, where Ben re-wrote history on his expedition.

Guests included Deborah Lloyd from FOX’s Gotham, Carmen D’Alessio of Studio 54 fame, Michele Hicks, Agent Provocateur founder Serena Rees amongst many others. The highlight of the night came when legendary British rocker Paul Simonon of The Clash took over the music and started playing some of his classics. Paired with canapés courtesy of Chef Danny Meyer and Tom Parker Bowles, guests were treated to an incredibly tantalizing, one of a kind experience. Nothing better than an evening of good music, good watches, and good food.
