After successful kick-off in 2015, once organized as a fundraiser for a Burning Man art project, BooGaLoo Festival is making its return in Silverado.
As the summer 2016 approaches, there’s a visible increase in the number of festivals to attend around the country. At the end of the month, April 29 through May 1, BooGaLoo will bring an art and music experience to Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, CA.
BooGaLoo is an experience for people of all ages on a mission to bring an interactive event with music and art created around its participants. In addition to multiple concerts, on the grounds of the festival there will be art cars and collaborative painting installations.
Headlining the festival are bass killer music duo Tropkillaz, Jurassic 5’s Chali 2na, DJ Dan, Crazy P, J. Phlip, KCRW’s Jason Bentley and ultra-funky Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe. On top of that, the musical aspect of the event will be packed with female power, featuring 14 DJ including J. Phlip, Rachel Torro, Liqourbox and more.
If you’re looking for more than concerts, BooGaLoo also will offer yoga workshops, family-friendly Sunday BBQ, performance artists and art car parade among many other activities.
