BondST Hudson Yards Introduces First-Ever Brunch Experience

Hudson Yards has become an in-demand destination for both visitors and local New Yorkers since opening in 2019. The glue that holds this massive luxury development together are the businesses like BondST Hudson Yards, EDGE, Fellow Barber and lululemon.

BondST, known for serving modern interpretations of Japanese-inspired cuisine over the last 25 years, celebrated its one year anniversary of the Hudson Yards location. Many of the much-loved classics dishes from the long-standing NOHO location came to Hudson Yards,  but new menu items were also created to fit the dining aesthetic.

This fall, for the first time ever, BondST launched a brunch option alongside a host of new and bespoke dishes for Hudson Yards, including the much-imitated-but-never-replicated Sweet Saketini, made with BondST specialty sake and originally created for Donatella Versace, who threw BondST’s first location’s opening party 25 years ago. The debut menu is a mix of unique Japanese signature dishes and cocktails, served in a playful manner. The posh new Brunch menu experience has been created by Executive Chef Marc Spitzer, a graduate of  Culinary Institute of America, in collaboration with Owner Jonathan Morr, a legacy in the restaurant industry.

From whole-table bento boxes to extravagant brunch seafood ‘towers’, this new brunch menu will be a one of a kind experience that is designed to be shared amongst the table, and sit alongside BondST staple dishes. Menu highlights include: Cobb Salad of marinated tuna, soy braised egg and dashi poached fingerling potatoes, Japanese Mushroom Omlette, Lobster Brick Toast, Eggs Benedict with yuzu hollandaise, Fluffy Japanese Soufflé Matcha Pancakes, Milk Bread Custard French Toast, Okonomiyaki and Wagyu Katsu Steamed Buns.

The Bento Table is the perfect dish to share and of course photo worthy thank to its uniqueness. The table will be laden with Japanese favorites like Big Eye Tuna Tarts, Spicy Crispy Shrimp, Shishito Peppers, Nasu Dengaku, AgeDashi Tofu, Tuna Crispy Rice, Chilean Sea Bass Skewers, and Sesame Crusted Shrimp, Spicy Yellowtail, and Salmon Avocado rolls. The show stopping Seafood Tower is elevated by Japanese flair. The cornucopia of fresh seafood includes East and West Coast Oysters, Little Neck Clams, Lobster, Colossal Shrimp, Ceviche and a host of house-made dips and sauces, with the option to add King Crab Hokkado Scallop and Uni for an extra dose of indulgence.

Cocktails like the Wasabi Bloody Mary will be sipped while taking in the panoramic views of the Hudson River and Vessel which just recently re-opened to the public. Brunch launched in September and has already become wildly popular.  It’s available every Saturday and Sunday from 11:30-2:30pm.
