BMF Season 2, Episode 4 Review

After being shot by Lamar on last week’s BMF, Meech escapes the hospital before Lamar even showed up as the chase is on between the two.

Even when these two rivals were in the same interrogation room, I felt the tension between them. Add in the fact that Lamar is bloodthirsty for revenge as he savagely killed members of BMF while he was chasing down any trace of Meech and Terry. I got to say that Lamar’s character development really shined on this episode as he is growing on me.

Terry does not know this yet, but the drug transport got intercepted by Bryant and Veronica as they are getting really close to capturing the leaders. That is not going to go well so we will have to see how they will follow this up. Another highlight for this episode is when Lucille was calling out the women at the church for judging her. That is supposed to be a place where nobody is judged so for this to happen, I appreciate the consistency of the church scenes as they are exposing how people can be human instead of masking who they are.

My only gripe on this week’s BMF is that the episode felt too short. It is one of them that should have been longer to flesh out the ongoing stories. There were some things that did happen to advance the story so I am happy with that. No way do I think that Charles and Lucille are accepting what Meech and Terry are doing in the illegal drug trade, but I have a feeling that they will be soon.

Lamar is clearly the star of the episode. That is how I will end the review!
