BMF Season 2, Episode 3 Review

If I were to tell you that Meech gets shot early on in the second season of BMF, you would most likely think that it would be a joke. But it is not as this happened at the end of this week’s episode.

Lamar finally found Meech and did what he wanted to do since the previous season. That is, “light his ass up.” The setup for this to happen outside the food place while Meech is with his crew is well executed and I give a high praise for how this was shot.

That is not the only thing that happened on this week’s BMF. The title is “Devils Night” which is a reference to the actual arson incidents that happened in Detroit during the late 1980’s. We got that blended into the story this week and Detective Veronica rescued one person who was being burned alive in one of the houses. Unfortunately the person died, but it showcases one of the dark periods of the city.

It seems like Charles’ affair with Mabel is starting to brew even more now as he is seen dancing with her after he did a short repair. It is really interesting to see where this goes since Lucille is trying everything to keep Charles happy. Speaking of happy, The bond between Terry and Markaisha is heating up and she cannot resist him at all. It does not help that Terry’s cab got messed up, but he got his revenge later in the episode.

A ton of stories were set up to lay the groundwork for the next few episodes. I cannot wait to see how this week’s cliffhanger will be resolved.
