To kick off the holiday season, Bloomingdale’s hosted a magical evening of music, fashion, and festivities at their New York flagship store. The event celebrated the reveal of the iconic holiday window displays and the dazzling façade designed in partnership with Burberry as part of the Happy Together campaign. Guests were treated to a private evening that perfectly blended glamour, whimsy, and festive cheer, culminating in a live performance by GRAMMY-nominated, BRIT Award-winning artist RAYE.
Inside, the celebration was buzzing with excitement. Guests mingled and toasted the season alongside personalities like Nicky Hilton, Justine Lupe (Nobody Wants This), Paige Desorbo (Summer House), Louisa Jacobson (Gilded Age), Sarah Pidgeon, Olivia Ponton, Lori Harvey, and Alicia Silverstone. One of the standout moments was Studio 59, where we sipped cocktails beneath a sparkling holiday tree and a chic photo setup, all surrounded by Baccarat’s exquisite lighting and products — an elegant and immersive way to start the evening.
The holiday windows brought the whimsical spirit of the season to life. Knights in suits of armor, inspired by Burberry’s emblematic designs, performed playful holiday scenes: decorating Christmas trees, running down the stairs on Christmas morning to find Santa arrived, going on last-minute shopping trips, and gathering around the piano in front of a warm fire. The effect is enchanting, giving the impression of wandering into a historical, knightly countryside, full of holiday cheer, playful storytelling, and festive magic — likely with a British accent thanks to the Knights.

On the Bloomingdale’s flagship façade, a giant, crowd-stopping illuminated Burberry scarf in the brand’s signature check glowed above the holiday windows along Lexington Avenue. It’s the first time a brand has taken over the building’s façade, creating a bold, festive statement that no one can miss, even from a block away. Inside, Burberry has curated an exclusive red colorway capsule spanning all the departments — from womenswear and menswear to kids’ and home — throughout the store. The collection has something for everyone, from cozy cold-weather accessories like scarves, beanies, gloves, sunglasses, and childrenswear to luxurious outerwear and statement pieces, making the experience feel like a full, immersive holiday adventure.
After exploring the store, guests gathered outside to watch RAYE perform live against the dazzling Burberry-designed windows. Cozy Burberry hooded wool scarves kept everyone warm as the crowd sang along to seasonal favorites. As I was walking out, I had a quick, fun moment with RAYE, who shared, “I’m trying to get the confidence to wear these [sunglasses] at night.” It was a candid, behind-the-scenes glimpse that made the night feel even more personal and memorable.
The celebration continued with a VIP after-party and champagne arcade, featuring interactive experiences like Santaland: The Polar Express, Baccarat x Studio 59, and more. Bloomingdale’s also continues its philanthropic efforts with No Kid Hungry and the Child Mind Institute, ensuring the season is as meaningful as it is magical.
