On October 20, 2025, The Carlyle played host to the FetchPetGala, a black-tie event organized by FetchPet Insurance in support of Broadway Barks, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Project Street Vet, and Wags & Walks. FetchPet is a leading tech-enabled pet insurance provider helping pet parents give their dogs and cats longer, healthier lives. The evening raised vital funds thanks to brand partners Mrs. Meyer’s Clean DaySATELLAI, and additional corporate sponsors for organizations working at the intersection of animal welfare, health equity, and community support.

“This wasn’t just a gala—it was a movement,” said Paul Guyardo, CEO of FetchPet. “We created something spectacular to raise money for pets and their people, thanks to the generosity of our performers, designers, and partners.”

The night featured intimate performances from Bernadette Peters, Sutton Foster, and Leslie Odom Jr., three Tony Award-winning icons who took the stage at the legendary Café Carlyle. Peters and Foster also served as co-hosts, setting the tone for an evening full of heart, humor, and powerhouse vocals.

Festivities began with a Green Carpet moment, where adoptable rescue dogs from North Shore Animal League America turned heads in one-of-a-kind Collars for Cause™—custom pieces designed by fashion heavyweights Jeffrey Banks, James Taffin de Givenchy, Josie Natori, Irene Neuwirth, and Stefania Pramma. These bespoke collars will go up for auction in December, with proceeds benefiting the night’s featured nonprofits.

After a pre-gala cocktail reception, guests enjoyed dinner, showstopping performances, and a celebration of the deep bond between pets and their people. The evening wrapped with the FetchPet After Party, presented by Kismet, the pet food brand co-founded by Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. Legend made a surprise appearance and treated attendees to an impromptu piano performance that had the entire room singing along.

The inaugural Fetch Pet Gala raised over $530,000 in one night for pets and people in need.
