Barry Manilow and Bruce Sussman Celebrate ‘Harmony’ at Museum of Broadway

This was something to sing about!

The Museum of Broadway hosted a real showstopper in April. Barry Manilow and Bruce Sussman attended a special unveiling of a brand-new window display dedicated to the Broadway musical “Harmony.”

The room was packed to see a special a cappella performance by the OBC Comedian Harmonists. After the music filled the hall, the two living musical legends stepped out to a flurry of light applause to greet them.

Manilow and Sussman have brought the long-forgotten story of The Comedian Harmonists, a German singing group of six young men whose fame was abruptly cut short by the rise of Nazism, to life in the 2023 hit Broadway musical Harmony.

The Museum of Broadway honored their story with the window display which features exclusive items donated by the dynamic duo along with historical items dating back to the 1920s.
