Kickstarter Arts Team hosted a dinner the other night at the Standard Spa in Miami honoring Art Basel, Artist Glenn Kaino & Olympian Tommie Smith.
Actor and producer Jesse Williams was also in attendance and is executive producing an upcoming documentary about Smith and his iconic salute and silent protest at the 1968 Olympic Games. Glenn & Tommie recently collaborated and completed a very successful Kickstarter campaign for youth art workshops to produce animated, drawing projects of his iconic race & fist raise and salute protest (it will be 50th anniversary of that salute next year)
